The Espaces Valléens program, an Alpine-wide initiative, makes it easier for public and private players in mountain areas to obtain subsidies from the European Union, the French government and the regional authorities, if they undertake to diversify their activities. The 2021-2027 program responds particularly to the challenges of adapting to climate change, developing sustainable tourism and promoting territorial cohesion.
The funding available under the scheme is as follows:
- The French State via the CIMA Convention Interrégionale du Massif Alpin
- The AURA Auvergne Rhône Alpes region through its tourism/mountain policy
- Haute-Savoie department
- European funds, in particular FEDER
