The Pointe des Mattes tour is a day hike for good walkers.
Starting from the Panthiaz car park, you will first walk along the Dranse river before starting your ascent.
This summit is one of the satellites of the Mont de Grange, which culminates at 2432 m, compared to 2100 m for the Pointe des Mattes.
You will pass by the Sur Bayard waterfall and reach Les Mattes via the Torrens chalet.
From the summit, you can enjoy a view of the mountains of the Abondance valley, its villages...The Pointe des Mattes tour is a day hike for good walkers.

Whatever your hike, remember to take cereal bars, sufficient water, sunglasses, sun cream, a small first aid kit, as well as clothes adapted to your outing according to the season and the weather forecast.

- Access (Car) : After the centre of the village of La Chapelle d'Abondance, in the direction of Châtel, you will see the Panthiaz cable car. The car park is on your right.
