  • A beautiful hike to La Chapelle d'Abondance, offering superb views of the Cornettes de Bise and the Abondance valley.

  • This hike starts from La Chapelle d'Abondance and takes in the Cornettes de Bise nature reserve, a Natura 2000 site.

    2 possible departures: parking de Chevenne or le Blanchet.

    You'll pass through Chevenne, take a pastoral track and then a path towards the Col de Vernaz at the foot of the imposing Cornettes de Bise mountain. At the pass, a magnificent view of its southern face awaits you.

    You'll then reach the Col de Resse and the Chalets de Resse.

    Return via a fairly steep path...
    This hike starts from La Chapelle d'Abondance and takes in the Cornettes de Bise nature reserve, a Natura 2000 site.
