Enjoy the magnificent setting of Lake Plagnes and its surrounding mountains whilst using the cross-country and Nordic skiing 5 km loop, it’s free and groomed.
During the school holidays instructors invite you to discover Nordic skiing in individual or group lessons. The Nordic domain of the Plagnes lake offers a free 3 km loop for skating or classic cross-country skiing. Snowshoeing, ski touring and dog sledding are practiced from the lake.

Access
- Take the direction of the center of the village of Abondance and then the direction of Lac des Plagnes on the left. Located 10 minutes from the center of the village by car. In winter, the road can be frozen and snowed in, so bring chains or snow tires.
