Now that’s a good question!

The great thing about Leman Mountains Explore is the diversity of our territory. No need to choose between the lake, the mountains or cultural outings: you have access to everything!

Go hiking in the morning, take advantage of your afternoon to visit the chapels of the Plateau de Gavot and the Vallée d’Abondance, then finish your day with your feet in Lake Geneva, watching the sun set.

Repeat as many times as you like, without moderation, during your stay!

How to organize your roadtrip? For a worry-free trip

First stage How do I get to Leman Mountains Explore?

Before you leave, take a look at the itineraries for getting to us.

There’s plenty of public transport to get you started at Leman Mountains Explore: trains, boats, buses… The choice is yours.

If you’re arriving by car or motorhome, consider carpooling to limit your environmental impact and travel costs.

Don’t forget to check out the campsites and RV parks where you can spend the night. If you’re coming during the summer season, campsites are quickly snapped up. So it’s essential to organize your stay in advance to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

Second stage Where to sleep on your roadtrip?

If you’re traveling by camper van, there are many apps to help you find places to sleep. Campsites can also accommodate you during your stay.

Just make sure you park in authorized areas. And be sure to leave the site clean and tidy after your departure.

If you’re a back-packer, the campsites and B&Bs in our area are ideal for getting around freely. Don’t forget to book in advance if you’re coming during the summer.

You can also spend the night in one of our region’s refuges, for a multi-day hike.

Looking for a little comfort? Our hotels are just waiting for you!

Third stage How to get the most out of the experience?

Now that you know how to get here and where to sleep, it’s time to organize the activities for your stay.

The advantage of a roadtrip is that your mobility allows you to try out all the activities our region has to offer!

To help you organize your roadtrip, here are a few ideas:

  • Day 1: Arrive at Leman Mountains Explore and take a lakeside stroll to discover the region.
