In addition to its remarkable bell tower, restored in 2012, Saint-Paul en Chablais boasts a recognized historical heritage with its 12th-century church, priory and several authentic chapels, such as those at La Beunaz and Le Lyonnet. Tours are organized by the Pays d’art et d’histoire. The village is a lively place, with several shops and accommodation facilities, and many events are organized, particularly during the summer months, including a Sunday market.

The commune boasts numerous natural sites, particularly wetlands. It is renowned for its lakes, in particular the Lac de la Beunaz, the largest but also the most intimate Lac Noir, and many others. The commune is located on the impluvium of Evian’s waters on the Gavot plateau water table. Marshes and peat bogs cover around 10% of the commune.
