In the heart of an exceptional panorama, in a wild and authentic setting, the Abondance ski area and its 17 km of pistes, which range in altitude from 950 m to 1730 m, offer all the joys of skiing to beginners and experienced skiers alike.
The village resort of Abondance has a ski area accessible by gondola from the village center. The area is ideal for families: from green runs to black runs, there’s something for everyone! The different sectors of the ski area – the beginners’ area, the Lac, the Corne, Fremoux and the Ecuelle – offer splendid panoramas and pistes for all levels.
Ideal for beginners, the Essert ski area in Abondance, and the Ludoffaz snow front in the heart of the village, offer pistes designed for beginners and those just starting out.
What if you took the time to learn?
All winter long, the ESF d’Abondance offers teaching adapted to everyone. Whatever your age or level, our instructors will help you progress. Children will receive a medal (piou-piou, star or arrow) and will be proud to wear it.
You can also hire an instructor for yourself (and your friends) for a day or half-day.
He or she can help you progress technically at your own pace. He or she can also help you discover the Essert or Portes du Soleil ski areas. He’ll share his passion for the region with you in a friendly atmosphere.
