The Jardin des Cinq Sens is divided into two distinct sections. In its first half, it offers a variety of themed areas: an alpine meadow reminiscent of the surrounding Alps, an undergrowth, a Renaissance-inspired weave and a bower cloister, conducive to contemplation and meditation.
The lower part forms four small gardens, separated by bower hedges and trellised apple trees, each dedicated to a different sense: sight, touch, taste and smell. The fifth sense, hearing, is symbolized by the gentle murmur of water and birdsong.
